Rural Requiem

So, we're trying to move out of the city and have a house built on twenty acres. I'm closer now in my life than I've ever been to achieving my childhood dream, having a horse. I know it sounds quaint, but there you have it. Because I can't sit around and watch dream become reality I've also started riding with a friend who has two lovely horses. I love riding them, though I have a lot to learn. I still feel super clumsy with the tack. Friday we're supposed to hear if the seller has accepted our offer. Then we start perc testing, surveying, etc. If the seller doesn't accept we will offer more money... my worst fear is that there is a more competitive offer on the table right now. Hopefully that isn't the case. I hope my phone vibrates in my pocket with the good news today, and I hope it does so at a time when I'll be able to check for the message/email/etc. I'm pulling 12ish hours today... work plus an extra project/favor this evening. I'll miss my little bug! Well, I must go hit the road. Latte on the way!
